网上在线报名从10月19日开始

 

Information on NGO registration for the 2010 Commission on the Status of Women

 

Preparations are underway for the Beijing+15 review meeting, which will focus on "sharing of experiences and good practices, with a view to overcoming remaining obstacles and new challenges, including those related to the Millennium Development Goals". Detailed arrangements for the session (programme/documents etc) will be made by the Bureau/DAW in the coming months.

As we all know, CSW is one of the most attended UN meetings, and generates especially high interest and participation from civil society. Of course, they will have an opportunity to participate at the upcoming CSW as well.  

However, NGOs shall register in advance for participation. The online pre-registration has now begun (on 19 Oct), all relevant info can be accessed through the DAW website: http://www.un.org/womenwatch/daw/csw/NGO.html#invitation. Pls also note deadlines for submission of statements in November.
